Slushy

Privacy Policy

Last updated November 7, 2026

This policy explains what Slushy collects and how it's used. Short version: we collect what's needed to match authors with agents, we never sell it, and your manuscript is only ever visible to agents you've matched with.

What we collect

  • Account: email, display name, role, and (for Google sign-in) your Google profile name and avatar.
  • Authors: pitch card contents and any pages or manuscripts you upload into a match.
  • Agents: agency name, links you submit for verification, bio, and wishlist.
  • Activity: swipes, matches, messages, card views, and basic product analytics (page views, feature usage).

How we use it

  • To show agents the cards that match their wishlist and to show authors aggregate stats (views, requests, passes as counts only).
  • To send transactional email: sign-in links, page requests, verification decisions.
  • To verify agents and keep the community safe.

What we never do

  • Sell or rent your data.
  • Show authors which agents passed on their card.
  • Share manuscripts outside the match they were uploaded to. Files live in private storage and are served through short-lived links.
  • Train AI models on your manuscripts or pitch cards.

Who we share with

Service providers that run Slushy: Supabase (database, auth, file storage), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email), and PostHog (analytics). Each processes data on our behalf under their own terms. Aggregate, anonymized trends (for example, "requests for romantasy rose 20%") may be published or shared with partners; nothing identifying any author or manuscript.

Your choices

  • Pause or delete a pitch card at any time.
  • Request export or deletion of your account by emailing hello@getslushy.app.
